" God Is Pouring Out His Spirit "
Dear Friends and Family,
So much has been happening lately that I’m not sure where to start. God is pouring out His Spirit right now, even as I write. If you haven’t heard yet, there is a great healing outpouring in Lakeland Florida. The evangelist is Todd Bentley. He moves in the word of knowledge. This revival is being broadcasted around the world to 214 counties. Thousands are being healed and accepting Jesus as there Savior.
On April 14th.
I was writing a letter to some friends of ours in the Detroit area, who are the children’s pastors at their church. They are the founders of “KID NATION “, Pastors Josh and Kate Richter. As I was writing the Lord started telling me what was about to happen. The following is what I wrote in the letter as the Lord revealed it to me.
God has been moving in an awesome way. Revival is just around the corner. I can feel it in the air. God is going to pour out His Spirit much sooner then anyone thinks. But we have to get ourselves in position. We have to quiet ourselves so that we can hear Him coming. He will be coming as the sound of a crisp summer breeze, and then as the sound of a roaring lion. The earth will shake under our feet, and then the great outpouring will begin. You're in the right place at the right time to be used of the Lord during this great outpouring of His Spirit. The children will be as mighty warriors, un-intimidated and bold. Many of them will be first to hear the wind, and many of them will lead the way. God is looking for the pure at heart and will use those who are ready. So get ready, get ready, get ready.
On April 18th.
We were awakened around 5:30am. We heard a sound and the house started moving, the pictures on the walls were rattling, and the bed started shaking, it was an earth quake in Indiana.
On April 23th.
We received an email from our niece that lives in Florida telling us what happened to them when they went to a meeting in Lakeland Florida. The following is what she wrote:
I was in the hallway holding Braden, ( Braden just turned two ) when the pastor walked by us and touched Braden, we both fell under the power of God. I never had that happened before. Braden got up and couldn’t walk. He was drunk in the Spirit and giggling! Then we were all lined up in the overflow and he anointed the whole 2000 with oil and we all went down again. As he was leaving, I was talking to our friends, he just walked by and touched me again, and boom! Braden kept saying “Windy! Wind Is Coming!” then he said “Window Open!” and pointed to the ceiling and said “Fire Coming”. She then told us we could watch it on the internet.
The next week we began watching it on the internet. This is truly a mighty move of God. There is no doubt in my mind. Because of the internet, people from all over the world are able to watch it as it unfolds. This is going to be the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit that the world has ever seen.
This isn’t the time to sit back and watch. It’s time to take an active roll. If we will do our part, God is going to do His part. Start inviting your relatives, friends, and neighbors to come with you to church. Tell the hopeless that there is hope in Jesus. Tell the sick that Jesus is the Healer, and He will make them whole again. Remember that 2000 years ago, Jesus healed and delivered all that were sick and oppressed. But it was the people that told others about Him and of His saving grace. It was because of people just like you telling others of the good news.
Lena and I have been feeling an excitement and sense of urgency to start going out more and more to minister to the body of Christ. Doors are beginning to open for us, and we are eager to see what God has in store for us and the body of Christ in the days to come.
Just a couple months ago a friend of ours, at church stopped us, and asked if we would pray for a friend of his wife. Her friend had leukemia and was going to the University of Chicago for treatments. We prayed for her, and then we prayed over a prayer cloth. He then left church and took the prayer cloth over to the woman at another church and gave it to her. We saw him the next week and he told us that when she had arrived in Chicago, they ran some blood tests and couldn’t find any leukemia. God had healed her. Now that’s the kind of God we serve.
A friend of ours called and asked if her and her husband could come over, because they were in need of prayer. This wasn’t the first time that she had come to our home for prayer. The first time her tooth needed a root canal, but she said she couldn’t afford to have one, and was wondering if we could pray for her. After we prayed for her, the pain in her tooth went away, and she didn’t need to have the root canal done to her tooth. This time she was coming for prayer because she was going through depression, and her husband was suffering from a pulled shoulder. After praying for her husbands shoulder, all the pain went away and he was able to move it freely. As for her, as we were praying for her, the love of God fell and completely engulfed her and set her free.
Last week we found out from some friends of ours that their daughter had bone cancer and had been undergoing chemotherapy. We asked if we could come over to their home and pray for her. They told us we could. When we got to their home, their daughter was laying down. Her head was aching, and her stomach was upset from the treatments, and her lower back was sore from injections. I told her a few testimonies of how God has healed several people of cancer that we had prayed for. I then asked her if we could pray for her. She said she was ready. Lena placed her hand on the young ladies head and asked God to heal her. When Lena was finished she asked her how her head felt. She said that when Lena’s hand was on her head it felt so good, and the pain left. We then prayed for her stomach and the sick feeling left. We then prayed for her back and that pain went away also. By this time she was feeling great and out of bed. I told her there was one more thing to complete her healing. I had her thank Jesus for her healing, and to ask Jesus to come in to her heart and forgive her sins. After she did that, you couldn’t tell there was anything wrong with her. Jesus had definitely touched her and she will never be the same.
You too can be set free and healed! Just ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins. He will do it, He will heal you, and set you free.
